1. Who you are contracting with

This service is operated by NRI Will Genius LLC, doing business as NRI Will Genius ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age to make a will in your jurisdiction.

2. What the service does

NRI Will Genius is self-service document preparation software. It asks you structured questions and assembles your answers into a will document in the standard format used in India, which you then print, sign and have witnessed yourself.

We are not a law firm, we are not your attorney or advocate, and we do not provide legal advice. No solicitor-client or advocate-client relationship is created by your use of the service. For a contested estate, a complex or cross-border structure, or anything you are unsure about, consult a qualified lawyer in India.

3. Your account and your information

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. The document we generate is only as correct as the answers you give. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Licence and restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and to use the document you generate for your own personal estate planning. You may not resell or redistribute the service or its output as a product, reverse engineer the service, or circumvent technical limits including the payment gate on document downloads.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

• break any applicable law, or facilitate fraud or impersonation;
• create a document purporting to be the will of someone who has not authorised it;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property rights;
• send spam, or upload malware;
• probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the security of the service.

6. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the service, its software, question flows, document templates, documentation and branding. You retain ownership of the personal information and answers you enter, and you grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to provide the service to you.

7. Payment, billing and refunds

Our order process is conducted by Stripe. Stripe acts as the Merchant of Record for our orders and handles payment processing, taxes and invoicing. Charges appear on your statement as LINK.COM* NRI WILL GENIUS.

We offer a 30-day, 100% money-back guarantee for any reason. Payment, billing, taxes, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are also governed by Stripe's Consumer Terms. Our own refund terms are set out in our Refund Policy.

The fee is a one-time charge per will document. It unlocks Word and PDF downloads for that document and includes unlimited edits and re-generation for twelve months from the date of payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. After twelve months your draft remains saved and readable, and downloading an updated document requires a new one-time payment at the then-current price.

8. Service levels

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from the information you submit, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time from your account settings. On termination your access ends and your stored data is deleted; download any document you wish to keep beforehand.

12. Changes, assignment and general

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
